Established in 2024 by a team who have worked together for over 25 years. Dorset Conservation Contractors has vast experience of forestry management and woodland establishment across Dorset and surrounding Counties. Our clients include farmers, estates, charities and public bodies.

Dorset and surrounding Counties have been terribly affected by ash dieback disease. Most of these trees will die and will need to be felled, both for safety reasons and to allow for re-planting or natural regeneration. We are experts in the clearance and removal of ash from difficult, steep and sensitive sites. We work with landowners to undertake these works in the most sensitive manner possible, being conscious always of ground conditions, access issues and seasons. Often we windrow the arisings from the felling works which creates excellent habitat and provides protection for re-growth from deer damage.

We operate a range of modern forestry equipment that allows us to use the most appropriate machinery for each site when thinning and clear felling.
